NCS Australia seeks a Gen AI Architect Azure to design production-grade generative AI platforms on Azure, integrating with existing Azure estates and leveraging Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Studio, and more. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud architecture, machine learning, and data governance, as well as leadership and mentoring skills.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience architecting and deploying generative AI and machine learning solutions in production environments
- Advanced proficiency with Azure AI services, including Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services, and Azure Machine Learning
- Strong expertise in large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and generative AI frameworks
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, or Java for solution design and prototyping
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture principles, including scalability, security, reliability, and cost optimization
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data pipelines and data governance frameworks
- Proven ability to lead technical teams, mentor engineers, and drive architectural decisions in complex environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate trade-offs and make decisive architectural recommendations
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) or Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102) certification
- Experience with multi-cloud architectures (AWS, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI practices, and ethical AI implementation
- Experience in regulated industries with compliance and security requirements
- Background in data science or machine learning engineering
