Summer Camp Lifeguard

The Near North Montessori School is seeking a Summer Camp Lifeguard to help keep summer campers safe and provide additional assistance in the pool. The successful candidate will work with students and a team of aquatics instructors during summer camp, which runs from June 15th through August 7th.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• ARC-Lifeguarding and First Aid certification
• ARC-CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification
• Previous swimming experience and swim instruction and/or lifeguarding experience
• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally with others
