Senior JavaScript Engineer (Poland, Contract)

Senior JavaScript Engineer position at Nearform in Poland, contract basis, 6 months, designing & building applications using JavaScript, collaborating with client teams, and delivering high-quality output within specific timeframes.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proficient in English
• Significant experience delivering at a Senior Developer level, Node.js experience essential
• Practical experience of delivering in an agile environment
• Deep knowledge of the JavaScript language
• Deep understanding of JavaScript frameworks, must include Node.js, React/js experience highly desirable
• Deep understanding of versioning control tools - Git
• Testing experience and familiarity with testing tools at all levels, unit, integration and end to end testing
• Practical and real world experience working with databases
• Experience with automation, CI and CD
• Experience building software collaboratively using pull requests and code reviews
• Back End/Full Stack experience
• Optional Experience: Typescript, Experience using GraphQL in a production environment, Good understanding of security and performance considerations, Understanding of architectural and design patterns, General familiarity with a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools
