Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Billing Specialist with experience in customer-facing invoicing and billing reconciliation to join our growing logistics support team.
Requirements
- Generate and issue customer invoices based on completed logistics shipments
- Ensure invoices align with contract terms, agreed rates, and applicable accessorials
- Audit required billing documentation, including PODs, BOLs, and rate confirmations
- Track invoice status, approvals, disputes, and resolution timelines
- Respond to customer billing inquiries with clear, professional communication
- Maintain accurate billing data within ERP, accounting systems, and/or TMS platforms
- Collaborate with operations teams to confirm shipment details and resolve discrepancies
- Support month-end billing close activities and basic billing-related reporting
