Nurse Manager - Heart & Vascular

The Nurse Manager - Heart & Vascular will lead the operations of a patient care department(s), achieve department and organizational goals, and ensure optimal outcomes for designed patient populations within approved operating budget.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years recent nursing experience
• Minimum of two years of experience in leading a group of people, or four years of experience in a technical expert role
• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Flexibility and dedication to team environment
• Ability to lead and develop teams
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to anticipate and respond effectively to changes in direction and priorities
• Well-ordered approach to problem solving
• Positive interpersonal/behavioral skills
• Experience with patient care equipment, telecommunication equipment, information systems, general patient care supplies, transport equipment, office equipment/supplies, and audio-visual equipment
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska or current compact state license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
