Denials and Appeals RN

We are seeking a Denials and Appeals RN to join our team at Nebraska Methodist Health System. As a Denials and Appeals RN, you will be responsible for managing and communicating clinically-based appeals between Methodist Health System and payers. You will review each case identified/referred for appeal, utilize InterQual and/or Physician Advisor to determine the viability of the appeal, and manage the appeal including documentation and communication to appropriate payer.

Requirements

• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing required
• Five years clinical experience in medical surgical nursing and/or ICU or case management with strong computer skills to include Word and Excel, use of laptops, and Internet
• Registered Nurse (RN) with current state license is required
