Job Description
Provides direct and indirect resident care activities and functions under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse or Leadership. Assists with or completes oral hygiene, bathing, dressing, and other daily living tasks. Administers specified medication and provides documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of the state approved Nurse Assistant course
- Six months CNA experience in Long Term Care/Skilled Care
- 40 Hour Medication Aide (MAR.40) certification
- Nurse Aide Registry (NAR)
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS)
