Sonographer - Echo or Vascular - Casual

Nebraska Methodist Health System seeks a Casual Sonographer - Echo or Vascular. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of clinical experience in vascular or echo and be board registered. Competitive pay and excellent benefits are offered.

Requirements

• Coordinates and performs vascular procedures according to department policy and procedures
• Obtains accurate patient history, indications for the study, and critical measurements
• Acquires all images digitally and assigns them to a physician for final interpretation
• Educates patients on procedures before they begin
• Logs patients and bills them appropriately in Cerner
• Gives critical lab results to ordering departments and documents them
• Collaborates in maintaining proper inventory and works with IT and Bio-Med when equipment or systems go down
