Electrical Engineer (Solar Engineering)

As an Electrical Engineer in the Solar Engineering group, you will be responsible for performing engineering design and analysis. The role involves detailed design of Photovoltaic (PV) Electrical Power Systems, preparation of computer-based models, and review of equipment data sheets and testing reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution, electric power option preferred
• 3– 6+ years of relevant engineering or field experience
• FE, PE is a plus, but not required
• Knowledge and familiarity with medium and low voltage distribution, switchgear, motor control centers, and industrial instrumentation and controls
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Effective written and oral communications skills
• Good interpersonal and people skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and standard computer software
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
