Project Manager - Oil & Gas job at MC&I, a consulting and engineering arm of NEI, responsible for overseeing electrical substation, transmission line, P&C, SCADA, I&C, system studies, and other industrial projects. The role requires experience in project management, electrical substations, transmission lines, P&C, I&C, SCADA, commissioning within an Oil & Gas Industrial setting, and proficiency in Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CPM scheduling, Smartsheet. The job is available to both local / in-office (Lakewood, Colorado) and full-time remote candidates.
Requirements
- Reviews and manages engineering schedules, budgets, scope, and subcontractors
- Understands Earned Value Analysis, EACs, ETCs, Cash Flows, and revenue recognition
- Manages the collection, organization and filing of all project documentation, both internally and for external third-party stakeholders and project financing needs
- Leads project status update meetings clients, providing schedule updates, submitting, and answering, requests for information and reporting on engineering progress
- Ensures project quality control and customer satisfaction by reviewing and monitoring engineering deliverables
- Coordinates with EPC contractors, Operators, and other clients to ensure adherence to and compliance with contract terms and delivery of contractual deliverables
- Manages and coordinate activities of internal teams of engineers to deliver projects on time and within project budgets
- Supports permitting and jurisdictional approval processes as needed for engineering projects
- Ability to coordinate with Program Managers of large portfolios as well as Project coordinators
