The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive health care to support the clinical care team in achieving Neighborcare's goals for quality care, productivity, and patient satisfaction. The role will involve independent clinical activities, collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and working in partnership with lead team members to achieve Neighborcare's Mission and Guiding Principles and goals.
Requirements
- Ability to conduct all appointments independently without the assistance of a Medical Assistant
- Knowledge and understanding of Washington State confidentiality and consent regulations for adolescent health services
- Knowledge of community resources, including insurance and Medicaid eligibility requirements
- Knowledge of cultural and social determinants of health
- Ability to organize data, calendars, monthly reports, and feedback on activities
- Ability to develop relationships between Neighborcare Health, schools, and SBHCs to expand services and deliver resources
- Ability to meet and comply with HIPAA/Confidentiality policies and procedures
- Ability to analyze patient care data
- Ability to listen actively and respond to patients, school staff, parents, and staff members in a timely, competent manner both verbally and non-verbally
- Ability to adapt to the needs of our patients and clinics
- Ability to manage projects with critical deadlines and goals
