Job Description
Neighborhood Health Association (NHA) is seeking a Medical Assistant to work full-time, Monday through Thursday, with a competitive salary and benefits package. The Medical Assistant will assist and support providers and medical staff in the provision of medical care, maintain patient records, and ensure patient confidentiality.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current certification in CPR or willingness to become CPR certified
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Must be sensitive to cultural, religious, and ethnic diversity
- Experience in working with medically underserved preferred
