Job Description
Community health is about more than just vaccines and checkups. It’s about giving people the resources they need to live their best lives. Neighborhood Healthcare PACE is a managed medical plan built around surrounding participants with a team of physicians, nurses, social workers, therapists and care coordinators to help them maintain good health and a good quality of life. The Occupational Therapy Assistant will implement occupational therapy programs and provide occupational therapy treatments to participants to help facilitate increased independence and functioning.
Requirements
- Graduated from an American Occupational Therapy Association accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program
- Valid CA Occupational Therapist Assistant License
- One year experience of providing and coordinating occupational therapy assistant services to a frail or elderly population
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through an American Heart Association (AHA)-approved source
