Neighborhood Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Services Supervisor to support the mission and vision of the organization by cultivating an environment that produces excellent patient-centered care and clinical services within a dynamic team setting.
Requirements
- Supervise medical assistants to work shifts to ensure sufficient coverage
- Assist with new hire orientation and ongoing training for clinic team
- Monitor support staff trainings to ensure employees attend required and ongoing trainings
- Assign medical assistants to providers and care teams based on continuity of care, skill levels, and workload demands
- Work with management to prepare agendas for department and site meetings
- Arrange logistics of medical staff meetings, including coordination of drug representative presentations
- Prepare and conduct 90-day and annual performance reviews for all direct reports
- Work with management and HR to provide timely and objective performance counseling
- Coordinate with lab management to ensure lab assistants are completing necessary logs and documentation
- Monitor the Electronic Medical Records System to ensure clinical team is documenting care transformation activities daily
- Match new patients to appropriate providers or appropriate service to promote continuity of care
- Provide guidance for policies, procedures, and various funding sources to support staff
- Assist in developing written policies and procedures for the operational aspect of clinical services
- Work with clinical team to provide comprehensive healthcare to patients
- Monitor patient satisfaction surveys process to ensure surveys are sent to appropriate entities
- Monitor, order, and maintain inventory systems for clinical supplies and clinical equipment, as needed
- Impacts patient experience by demonstrating courteous and helpful behavior and a commitment to accuracy
- Shares accountability for overall patient health outcomes by working in coordination with care teams
- Operates to instill confidence in our care and in our facilities to patients, fellow employees, and other stakeholders
- Supervise and recommend or make decisions to hire, transfer, reward, discipline or terminate employees
- Assess training needs and promotes developmental activities
- Conducts team meetings to promote communication, assess and resolve needs, and foster teamwork, as needed
- Evaluates, coaches, and develops team performance by using job requirements and competency assessments
- Informs team of organizational activities and promotes mission and goals
