Specimen Transport Specialist

NeoGenomics is seeking a Specimen Transport Specialist to perform daily activities of making assigned specimen pickups per established departmental guidelines for the logistics department. The role involves driving a vehicle to pick-up, deliver, and properly store specimens and other materials, as well as communicating effectively with clients, employees, and the public.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years previous driving experience
• Prior medical courier experience and prior customer service experience
• Ability to read a map
• Ability to read and write English
• Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to sit during shift, excluding meal and rest period
• Ability to move and lift 50 pounds and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 pounds with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person
• Good customer service skills
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
