Neros is a defense technology company rebuilding America’s drone industrial base. We're hiring an Autonomy State Estimation Engineer to develop and implement state estimation algorithms for onboard drones.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience developing state estimation algorithms for robotics, drones, or similar systems
- Strong knowledge of sensor fusion techniques such as Kalman filters, extended Kalman filters (EKF), or particle filters
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ or Python
- Experience implementing algorithms on embedded systems or real-time platforms
- Familiarity with sensor technologies like IMU, GPS, cameras, and lidar
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills, particularly in linear algebra, probability, and optimization
- Experience with simulation tools and frameworks (e.g., Gazebo, Mujoco, etc)
