Senior Narrative Editor

NetEase Games is seeking a Senior Narrative Editor to own the narrative voice and tone for the English version of a game, ensuring clarity, naturalness, and strong appeal for global players. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and rewriting skills, a player-centric mindset, and experience in game narrative, localization, or cross-cultural content adaptation.

Requirements

• Native or near-native English proficiency
• 3+ years of experience in game narrative (Narrative Design, Game Writing, or Narrative Editing)
• Experience with RPG, open-world, or action games is a strong plus
• Strong player-centric mindset, with the ability to simplify complex ideas into clear and engaging content
• Experience in localization or cross-cultural content adaptation is a plus; familiarity with game development pipelines
