Azure Cloud Architect - Freelance

Netguru is seeking a freelance Azure Cloud Architect to design and implement cloud infrastructure for a microservices architecture, focusing on scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, strong background in cloud architecture design, and proven experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container orchestration. Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
• Strong background in cloud architecture design
• Proven experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container orchestration
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform and Azure Bicep
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions)
• Knowledge of cloud security practices, including RBAC, WAF, and Azure security assessments
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, general scripting) and familiarity with Linux environments
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, Nginx)
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Locust
• Ability to design and work with large-scale distributed systems
