Cybersecurity Intern

Role Overview

As a BCS cybersecurity intern, you will work on real-world projects and cybersecurity operations, protecting things that matter. You will be trained as a cybersecurity practitioner and assigned a mentor during your internship.

What You Will Do

Assist to develop and maintain cyber security policies, standards and procedures, conduct cyber risks and assessments, and assist with vulnerability assessment and compliance scans.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Prior experiences in CTFs and/or cybersecurity related internship, hands-on programming experience with PowerShell & Python, and keen interests in cybersecurity are required.

Requirements

• Currently a student or has a confirmed offer pursuing a Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Security related fields
• Prior experiences in CTFs and/or cybersecurity related internship
• Hands-on programming experience with PowerShell & Python
• Familiar with Unix, Linux and/or Windows operation systems
• Keen interests in cybersecurity
• Good communication, writing and presentation skills
