The NETS Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Intern to join the Security Architecture & Engineering function. The internship will provide hands-on experience in protecting enterprise systems and networks, as well as contributing to the maintenance of security controls. Interns will document design decisions, develop dashboards, conduct research, and assist in developing secure architectures.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related fields
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, network protocols, and operating systems
- Familiarity with security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, and SIEM platforms
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, IF statements)
- Experience with pivot tables, charts, and data visualization techniques
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
