Field Service Engineer

NETZSCH Premier Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer to travel extensively to customer sites to provide installation, start-up, troubleshooting, training and maintenance support for equipment. The ideal candidate will have mechanical ability, technical training, or previous experience working in a mechanical, hands-on position. Travel will be up to 80% in the US and Canada.

Requirements

• Customer service: work with customers via phone, e-mail, video calls and in person to resolve equipment issues.
• Complete and sign off on various required reports - troubleshooting and startup reports.
• Perform commissioning, start-up, and training for new equipment at the customer’s facility.
• Preventative maintenance or service at customer’s facility for tasks the customer is not able to perform on their own.
• Provide technical support for customer property (parts or systems) that are returned to our facility for repair.
• Train customers (onsite) on operating the equipment, maintenance and preventative maintenance, and how to use NETZSCH documentation.
• Write and revise procedures for the service department.
• Document project progress and provide status updates as required.
• Travel as needed, up to 80%; both domestic and international travel.
