Senior Associate / Vice President - Private Debt

Neuberger Berman Private Debt (NBPD) is a leading private debt investment platform. The team is looking for a Senior Associate / VP level candidate to join in 2026 to perform in-depth valuation analysis, lead deals, and train junior associates.

Requirements

• Excellent academic credentials
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in investment banking, management consulting, private or public credit investment funds, and/or private equity
• Minimum of 3 years of direct private credit / private equity experience
• Strong technical foundation in corporate finance and accounting
• Strong quantitative abilities, including experience in financial modeling and valuation
• Ability to articulate and present ideas effectively both orally and in written form
• Demonstrate objectivity, integrity, accountability in investment recommendations
• Team-player attitude and a desire to work on a wide range of projects
