Junior R&D Engineer

The Junior R&D Engineer will be instrumental in developing advanced implantable electrodes that aim to revolutionize the way we interface with the nervous system. This position requires an individual who can work independently and creatively to support the design, develop, and validate next generation neurotechnology solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (ex. HES) or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
• At least 2 years of hardware experience in the field of neurotechnology, biomedical engineering, or a related discipline
• Hands-on experience working in an ISO 13485-compliant cleanroom environment
• Proven experience working with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, innovative, and adaptive environment
• Comprehensive knowledge in the areas of materials, electronics, and/or microfabrication techniques
• Strong understanding of PDMS-based systems and microfabrication workflows
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking
• Strong hands-on skills in experimental design, fabrication, and validation of prototypes
• Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
