Job Description
Nevada State University invites applications for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Teacher Education - Literacy Education. The successful candidate will contribute to program development and academic leadership, teaching literacy methods courses and content literacy courses. The university seeks candidates with a demonstrated commitment to and success working in diverse, multicultural, and multilingual communities.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Literacy, Curriculum and Instruction, Teacher Education or a related field
- At least three (3) years teaching literacy in a K-5 setting
- Certification or eligibility for certification in Nevada
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence, teacher preparation, and student success
