Job Description
Nevada State University invites applications for an open pool of adjunct faculty for in-person courses in American Sign Language Interpreting. Adjunct faculty members are compensated at the rate of $1,160 per credit hour. Courses range from 2 to 3 credits.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in related areas, such as Deaf Studies, Linguistics (ASL), American Sign Language Interpreting, etc.
- Available to teach in person in the morning, afternoon or evening.
- Evidence of a strong commitment to teaching, educational excellence, and mentoring undergraduate students.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship (NSU does not sponsor employment-related visas).
