Job Description
Nevada State University invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate baccalaureate nursing students in clinical and skills lab settings. Part-time openings are available in all specialties. Adjunct faculty members are compensated at the rate of $2,067 per credit for Theory courses and $3,000 per credit hour for Clinical and Skills Lab courses.
Requirements
- Unencumbered/Unrestricted Nevada RN License
- Master's degree in nursing or a related field
- Evidence of clinical excellence and desire to teach at the college level
- Evidence of a strong commitment to teaching, mentoring, and working with a diverse population of undergraduate students in a growing institution
- Team player who collaborates with faculty, staff, and students
- Competency in use of Electronic Health Records and educational technology
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship
