Job Description
Nevada State University invites applications for the position of Student Worker - Student Ambassador. The student worker will provide front desk support in Admissions & Recruitment as well as conduct campus tours and attend events.
Requirements
- Greet and assist students and parents visiting the Admissions & Recruitment office.
- Lead campus tours, sharing insights about the university’s programs, campus life, and resources.
- Assist in planning and executing campus recruitment events.
- Respond promptly and professionally to phone calls and emails related to admissions and recruitment inquiries.
- Scan and upload documents into the admissions database.
- Provide support on various projects and administrative tasks within the Admissions & Recruitment Department.
- Contribute to social media content creation and posting.
- Offer assistance to other university departments as needed.
- Attend and table at off-campus recruitment fairs (mileage will be reimbursement).
Benefits
- Paid hourly rate of $14.00 per hour.
- Eligibility to work up to 19.5 hours per week.
