Utility (1st Shift)

AHF Products has a great career opportunity for a Utility operator located at our Sawmill in Smoot, WV. Reporting to the Mill Supervisor, you will be responsible for operating key sawmill equipment and ensuring efficient and safe processing of logs and lumber.

Requirements

• Operate and monitor key sawmill equipment
• Assist in the setup, calibration, and adjustment of machinery
• Perform routine checks on equipment
• Sort, stack, and transfer processed lumber
• Support continuous operation by clearing jams and maintaining flow
• Monitor product quality and remove or report defective material
• Clean and maintain work areas and equipment
• Assist with inventory management and labeling
• Provide general labor support across different mill operations
