Job Description
This is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position within a managed facility. The CNA will provide direct resident care, assisting with personal care, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe and stimulating environment. They will also assist with Resident Care Plans and report changes in resident condition to the charge nurse. Knowledge of state regulations and a commitment to resident rights are essential.
Requirements
- Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living.
- Assist with range of motion, turning, positioning, ambulation and assistive devices.
- Take vital signs, height, and weight measures.
- Follow assigned restorative and rehabilitative procedures.
- Report resident changes in condition to the charge nurse.
- Understand and follow all rules and regulations regarding residents’ rights.
- Prevent abuse, neglect and exploitation in the elderly.
- Promote a safe, clean environment in which the residents may live.
- Become a participating facility team member.
