Estimator / Drafter

New Castle Building Products is seeking an Estimator / Drafter to work in their Metals location based in Hicksville. The role requires reviewing plans, generating estimates, and preparing shop drawings. Must have good communication skills, a can-do attitude, and prior experience with sheet metal fabrication or metal roofing is a plus.

Requirements

• Review plans/drawings, specifications to generate sheet metal take-offs
• Preparing computer-generated estimates for edge metal systems
• Estimating standing seam roofing systems
• Preparing shop drawings and submittals documents
• Managing bids from contractors, follow up
