Role Overview

The Estimator plays a pivotal role at Whirlwind Building Systems, ensuring the successful delivery of accurate, competitive building quotes that align with the company's standards and practices.

What You Will Do

Review bid specifications and architectural drawings, compile and present detailed quotes, engage in design reviews, cost assessments, and scope evaluations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
• Previous experience in the Metal Building Industry
• Meticulous in reviewing and interpreting project documents
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• Experience with Metal Building Software (MBS)
• Expertise in Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong foundational knowledge in fractions, decimals, and basic geometry
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings with precision
• Competence in identifying exclusions or qualifications in project specifications
