Job Description
We are seeking a Mainframe MIPS Performance Consultant with experience in SAS reporting systems, MXG, and SMF. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in capacity and performance measurements and be able to develop tools and processes to measure MIPS tuning opportunities.
Requirements
- Experience with SAS reporting systems, MXG, and SMF
- Ability to develop tools and processes used on the project
- Ability to construct the SMF model required to measure the tuning benefit
- Ability to research and resolve any performance and reporting anomalies
- Re-platform SAS reporting off the mainframe to the distributed platform
- Strong expertise in data mining
- Ability to analyze data and make tuning recommendations
- Financial Services experience preferred
