Job Description
As a 310T Mechanic at New Flyer, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. This role requires expertise in troubleshooting and executing intricate repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety. You will also mentor junior mechanics and work in a team that values technical excellence and continuous learning.
Requirements
- Valid 310T (Truck and Coach Technician) Certificate of Qualification
- 3+ years of experience in automotive, diesel, or related fields
- High-Voltage (HV) Safety Certification and HV Maintenance/Repair Training
- Basic understanding of Diagnostic Tools such as Vansco, Cummins INSITE, and other vehicle diagnostics systems
- Basic understanding of Fleet & Data Management Software: Familiarity with Oracle, Fleetio, and Microsoft Outlook for maintenance tracking and reporting
- Valid Class G driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Visual acuity to read diagnostics and inspect components
- Hearing ability to detect vehicle noises and alarms
