The Buyer is responsible for executing the material supply plan to achieve 100% build-in-station targets and inventory goals for assigned suppliers. The role involves accurately completing transactions in Oracle, maintaining clear communication with suppliers, and operating professionally and ethically in all aspects of the role.
Requirements
- High school diploma plus a minimum of 2+ years of post-secondary education, ideally in Supply Chain or a related field
- At least 2+ years of Purchasing or Planning experience within a manufacturing environment
- Basic knowledge of MRP systems and Inventory Planning
- Strong computer skills and ability to work with data
- Experience with Oracle considered an asset
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment
