Job Description
New Flyer is seeking a Lean Specialist to drive continuous improvement by applying Lean methodologies to identify and eliminate defects across manufacturing processes. The role requires a strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication and training abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems. The Lean Specialist will partner closely with shop floor employees to improve product quality, enhance operational efficiency, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required (or willingness to obtain)
- Black Belt certification preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and training abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle)
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate across teams
