Childcare Cook

We are seeking a Childcare Cook to join our team at New Horizon Academy! The ideal candidate will have a positive work ethic, a team-centered attitude, and experience in kitchen work, particularly with food allergies/restrictions. The role involves working in a child-centered environment and teaching staff to inspire, encourage, and celebrate a child's love of learning.

Requirements

• Full-time work schedule, Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm
• Previous kitchen experience preferred
• Ability to work with food allergies/restrictions
• Positive work ethic and team-centered attitude
• Comfortable working in a child-centered environment
• Willingness to learn
• Meet state qualifications for the position
• Previous experience in Early Childhood Education or related field of work
• Satisfy Applicant Background Study required by state regulations
• Provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the US
• Have physical abilities to perform job duties with or without accommodations
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff
