Job Description
NJCDC is seeking a Program Director for its 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) Grant. The position provides leadership in creating an inviting and safe environment for extra-curricular and academic opportunities for students.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Social Work, Human Services or a related field
- Master's Degree preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in education and positive youth development providing school-based, after-school and summer related programming
- Experience working with at-risk youth ages 14-18
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented
- Proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
