Commercial Associate

New Leaf Energy is seeking a Commercial Associate to join their team in supporting offtake origination, market analysis, and commercial strategy across the company’s utility-scale renewable energy portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring strong quantitative skills, a working knowledge of U.S. power markets, experience with PPAs or structured power products, and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 to 4 years’ experience working at a renewable energy IPP or developer, with a focus on financial modeling, origination or M&A;
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Business or a related field;
• Strong attention to detail and project management skills required.
• Project finance modeling and power markets analysis experience;
• Knowledge of energy or renewable energy development and finance;
• Ability to analyze financial models and understand the impact of various key drivers.
