Job Description
New Leaf Energy is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Counsel, Transactions to support its project development business and independent power producer. The position will include counseling and advising on structuring transactions, drafting and negotiating agreements, and identifying and mitigating risks.
Requirements
- Law degree and strong academic record
- At least 6-8 years of substantial, relevant legal experience
- Expert knowledge with respect to M&A and purchase and sale agreements
- Experience in financing structures and transactions
- Ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear advice
