Estimator

The Estimator position is responsible for delivering accurate quantity takeoffs and budgetary cost estimates for high-rise building projects in the preconstruction and construction phases. The primary responsibilities include reading and understanding RFP documents, drafting RFIs, performing quantity takeoffs, and compiling comprehensive budget estimates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited institution
• Several years of estimating experience with a construction manager or general contractor
• Ability to estimate all major construction trades (union and/or non-union)
• Familiarity with high-rise building construction
• Familiarity with NYC trade contractors' productivity and crew sizes is a plus
