Director of Nursing Specialist (RN) $5,000 Sign on Bonus

The health and wellness director specialist (HWDS) serves as the health and wellness director (HWD) where needed, typically on a temporary basis, and assists with onboarding and mentoring new health and wellness directors. The HWDS directs and manages team members serving in a caregiver, medication management, and nursing capacity.

Requirements

• Current and unencumbered registered nurse licenses for the state in which the assigned communities are located.
• Experience working with and directing programs serving older adults in senior living, long-term care, home health, or other health care setting.
• Several years of relevant work experience in a leadership or managerial role.
• Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer skills and ability to proficiently utilize a variety of electronic devices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and inspire and motivate teams.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evening and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
