Job Description
ACT is seeking a Peer Recovery Specialist to provide non-clinical, person-centered wellness support to engage consumers in treatment. The role focuses on inspiring hope, increasing engagement in treatment, and supporting personal goals related to wellness, recovery resiliency, and self-advocacy.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Diagnosed mental health or substance use disorder for two years or more
- Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist
- Experience with Coordinated Individual Supervision
- Program Supervisor and Peer Support Group Supervision
