Volunteer Van Driver

New River Valley Community Services is seeking a Volunteer Van Driver to support the transportation needs of their community members, including seniors and individuals with disabilities. The role involves safe and efficient transportation of authorized persons, adhering to agency policies and procedures. This is a volunteer position and doesn't require prior experience.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of vehicle operation
• Knowledge of state and local traffic regulations
• Ability to effectively and accurately communicate both orally and in writing
• Excellent customer relations skills
• Possession of a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma
• Consideration for new employees who speak multiple languages
