Job Description
NYLAG seeks a highly motivated temporary staff attorney to provide elder law and special needs legal services to older adults and individuals with disabilities.
Requirements
- Admission to NYS Bar is required
- NYS notary license is required
- Excellent communication, research and writing skills are required
- Civil legal services, clinical, and/or fellowship experience in elder law and health law is preferred
- Strong organizational and administrative skills are required
- Experience working with diverse populations is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently
- Proficiency in Russian is preferred
