Job Description
newcleo is seeking a Nuclear Safety Inspector to join their team in Aix-en-Provence, Avignon, or Lyon. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring safety and regulatory compliance in nuclear safety and radiological matters, working closely with the Head of Regulatory Compliance and Safety and reporting to the Global Licensing Director.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering or science (Bachelor + 5), or equivalent experience
- Strong interest in the nuclear industry, decarbonation, and innovative technologies
- Good knowledge of French nuclear regulations, particularly the INB decree of February 7, 2012
- Experience in implementing regulatory requirements in nuclear installations or subcontractors
- Ability to develop safety procedures and tools
- Experience working in an international environment
- Professional proficiency in French and English, both in writing and speaking
