Systems Engineer | Satellite RF & Communications

NewOrbit Space is building satellites that can operate at an altitude of just 200 km to rapidly advance global connectivity and insight. We are currently in a critical growth phase and require Systems Engineers to own the end-to-end design of the satellite's RF systems.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MSc, MEng, or PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on RF or microwave systems.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience designing and implementing RF systems in a satellite or aerospace context.
• Strong understanding of RF components (LNAs, filters, mixers, power amplifiers, etc.)
• Proficiency with RF tools such as CST, HFSS, ADS, and MATLAB
• Familiarity with SDR platforms and relevant communication protocols (e.g., CCSDS, S-band, X-band, UHF)
