Newport Aquarium House and Grounds (Janitor) Host - Second Shift Part-Time

Newport Aquarium is seeking a House and Grounds Host to maintain the overall cleanliness of the aquarium, engage guests with animal facts, and contribute to overall building maintenance. The role requires a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, and the ability to work with little to no supervision.

Requirements

• 18 years old or older
• Previous experience in facilities cleaning desired
• Willingness to become Bloodborne Pathogens trained
• Knowledge of aquatic life a plus
• Friendly, outgoing and proactive approach
• Ability to work as a member of a team
• Ability to work with little to no supervision while remaining motivated and on task
• Ability to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends, holidays, and evenings
• Ability to work between 4:00pm and 2:00am required (Second Shift role)
