Job Description
Newport Mental Health (NMH) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to provide high-quality mental health care to adults in Newport County, Rhode Island. The role involves providing psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans, focusing on both patient well-being and enhancing their quality of life through various therapies and interventions.
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine and prescribe medications in Rhode Island
- Master’s in Nursing (MSN) with Prescriptive Privileges preferred
- 5+ years of experience in providing psychiatric services to adults
- Current licensure to practice in Rhode Island
- Eligible to credential as a Qualified Mental Health Professional
- Authorized to prescribe psychotropic medications (Section 5-34 RI Nurse Practitioner Act)
