AI Engineer, Agent Platform

NewsBreak is hiring an AI Engineer to build the agent platform that powers its next-generation AI products, including local-news synthesis agents and paid-growth agents. The successful candidate will join a small team and be responsible for building the agent runtime, designing eval and observability harnesses, and integrating new foundation models.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience shipping an AI product with real users
• Active, hands-on familiarity with modern AI development tooling
• Ability to work end-to-end independently
• Developed perspective on AI agent design
• Strong proficiency in Python (or Go / Node) with solid backend engineering experience
