Job Description
As the Senior Engineering Manager at NewStore, you will lead high-impact engineering teams within complex domains, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development with 6+ years successfully managing engineering teams in complex domains
- Strong background in modern software development practices, cloud platforms (preferably AWS), and distributed systems architecture
- Proven experience building and shaping teams for strategic initiatives, not just managing existing teams
- Experience managing and setting direction for senior individual contributors
- Deep understanding of agile methodologies, including eXtreme Programming, TDD, and continuous delivery practices
- Demonstrated ability to shape domain-level strategy and handle ambiguous challenges
- Strong relationships with product, design, and business stakeholders in previous roles
- Natural ability to develop future engineering leaders and foster growth across multiple teams
